Production Operative

Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a busy and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous production experience who is looking for a stable, full-time role with consistent weekday hours.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day production process, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. You will be working as part of a fast-paced team, supporting production output and helping to maintain quality throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in the warehouse and production within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Assisting with mixing chemicals, following successful completion of the required training.
• Carrying out general production duties as required.
• Ensuring products are handled, processed, and prepared correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working to production targets and quality standards.
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

About You

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual and committed to consistent attendance.
• COSHH knowledge is desirable but not essential.
